For manufacturing of individual phantoms and components there are a number of 3D printing techniques available, which will be used depending on the case of application. The production of silicone models by use of vacuum casting is possible as well.

Stereolithographie

  • Gradual lowering of the build plate into liquid raw material bath
  • Curing under UV laser
  • Plastic manufacturing (grey, transparent)
  • Build chamber 250 x 250 x 250 mm³
  • 0.05 mm slice thickness
  • 0.075 mm laser beam diameter

MultiJet modelling

  • Applying model material in layers
  • Lost-wax casting
  • Meltable material
  • Build chamber 250 x 190 x 200 mm³

PolyJet modelling

  • Applying of support and model material in layers employing a print head
  • Curing under UV exposure
  • Plastic manufacturing (yellowish, transparent)
  • Build chamber 340 x 330 x 200 mm³
  • 0.016 mm slice thickness
